Description

If you prefer a clean cockpit on a threadless bike, the Velo Orange Tall-Stack combines the stem and a tall steerer clamp in one piece. Its -17° extension sits close to level on many frames.

The important measurement is below the bar clamp: this stem needs at least 65 mm of steerer engagement. It is a considered choice for a build with enough steerer left, rather than a way to recover height from a fork already cut short.

Specifications

Handlebar clamp: 31.8 mm
Steerer clamp: 28.6 mm (1-1/8-inch threadless)
Angle: -17°
Stack height: 75 mm
Minimum steerer engagement: 65 mm
Not recommended for carbon steerers or threadless stem adaptors
Weight: 148 g for 100 mm

Fit comes first

Designed for a 1 1/8 in (28.6 mm) threadless fork steerer. Confirm the handlebar clamp diameter, available steerer length and cable length before ordering. A change in stem angle or extension changes bar height and reach together. At least 65 mm of steerer engagement is required. This stem is not recommended for carbon steerers or threadless stem adaptors. Use Fit Lab to compare your handlebar and stem position. Not sure? Ask us first. Fit Help is free.
