Description

When a low cockpit leaves you reaching down farther than you want, the Velo Orange Happy Stem offers a simple way to move the bar up. Its 45° rise comes in 90 mm and 110 mm extensions.

The stem also takes the place of a conventional top cap, with a longer compression bolt included. That design has specific requirements: a metal threadless steerer with enough exposed length, and no quill-to-threadless adaptor.

Specifications

Handlebar clamp: 31.8 mm
Steerer clamp: 28.6 mm (1-1/8-inch threadless)
Angle: +45°
Minimum exposed steerer: 37 mm
Long compression bolt included; stem acts as top cap
Not for carbon steerers or threadless stem adaptors
Weight: 203 g for 90 mm

Fit comes first

Designed for a 1 1/8 in (28.6 mm) threadless fork steerer. Confirm the handlebar clamp diameter, available steerer length and cable length before ordering. A change in stem angle or extension changes bar height and reach together. The Happy requires at least 37 mm of exposed metal steerer; it is not for carbon steerers or threadless stem adaptors. Use Fit Lab to compare your handlebar and stem position. Not sure? Ask us first. Fit Help is free.
