Description

Some bikes need a higher bar without a tower of spacers. The Velo Orange Cigne uses a swan-neck shape to place the handlebar centre 145 mm above the stem base.

Choose a 70 mm or 90 mm extension in the finish shown above. The stem also acts as the top cap, so its installation differs from a conventional threadless stem. It needs a metal steerer with enough exposed length and cannot be used with a quill adaptor.

Specifications

Handlebar clamp: 31.8 mm
Steerer clamp: 28.6 mm (1-1/8-inch threadless)
Height from base to handlebar centre: 145 mm
Minimum steerer engagement: 55 mm
Metal steerers only; not for carbon steerers or quill stem adaptors
Stem also acts as top cap
Weight: 343 g for 90 mm

Fit comes first

Designed for a 1 1/8 in (28.6 mm) threadless fork steerer. Confirm the handlebar clamp diameter, available steerer length and cable length before ordering. A change in stem angle or extension changes bar height and reach together. The Cigne requires at least 55 mm of metal steerer engagement; it is not for carbon steerers or quill adaptors. Use Fit Lab to compare your handlebar and stem position. Not sure? Ask us first. Fit Help is free.
