The Tektro ML520 is a straightforward long-pull lever for a flat-bar bike with V-brakes. Its compact two-finger blade keeps the controls simple on a commuter, older mountain bike or everyday rebuild.
This version combines a silver lever with a black bracket. Supplied as a left-and-right pair, with barrel adjusters for taking up cable slack.

Fit comes first
Match the lever to the brake's required cable pull. The ML520 suits the Tektro 855AL V-brake; it is not a direct match for short-pull cantilever brakes such as the GC999 or CR-X. Confirm a 22.2 mm control area, space beside the shifters, cable condition and routing. Have the brakes installed and adjusted by a competent mechanic. Not sure? Ask us first. Fit Help is free.
