If the bike needs a straightforward replacement stem, the NITTO Young NY-3 is worth a look. It keeps the choices simple: a polished silver finish, a 25.4 mm bar clamp and two available extensions.

The cold-forged aluminium body has a 160 mm post. Choose 70 mm or 100 mm to suit your reach, and check the available quill height before ordering if your aim is to bring the bars substantially higher.

Fit comes first

Designed for a 22.2 mm quill opening in a 1-inch threaded fork steerer. Confirm the handlebar clamp diameter, usable insertion depth and cable length before ordering.
