Description

A little more room to adjust bar height can make an older bike easier to live with. The black Bassi Classic Quill Stem offers that adjustment in a simple forged design.

This version has an 80 mm extension, a 180 mm post and a 25.4 mm handlebar clamp. It is worth considering for a commuter, everyday rebuild or classic touring cockpit when those dimensions match the bike.

Specifications

Handlebar clamp: 25.4 mm
Quill: 22.2 mm for a 1-inch threaded fork
Finish: black
Dimensions in the selector: extension × post length × handlebar clamp

Fit comes first

Designed for a 22.2 mm quill opening in a 1-inch threaded fork steerer. Confirm the handlebar clamp diameter, usable insertion depth and cable length before ordering. Keep the minimum-insertion mark inside the steerer. A higher position changes bar height and reach together. Use Fit Lab to compare your handlebar and stem position. Not sure? Ask us first.
